Signing into the Zoom App that is installed on your device will help you stay signed in for long periods of time which mitigate access and host issues. So if you find that you are not the host of your own meeting or simply cannot get into a secure meeting, it is because you have not signed into Zoom one of the 4 ways below. Authentication not only secures the meeting but also identifies you as a Stony Brook Zoom user. Understanding Why You Cannot Get into Zoom Meetings or You are not Recognized as a Host of your Own Meetingīy default, Zoom meetings require authentication to join unless the creator of the meeting manually changes that setting. Select Account Sign In and enter your Concordia login information on the CUW/AA Single Sign-On page. In the top address bar enter: and hit the enter key.ģ. A new page will show up explaining that Zoom will launch shortly as well as a smaller window labeled “Launch Application.” On the small window click Open Link. This is the same as the information you use to log into the CUW/AA Portal.ĥ. On the CUW/AA Single Sign-On page enter your Concordia login information. Under Company Domain enter: cuwaa and click Continue.Ĥ. Do not enter your login information on the left.ģ. On the Zoom application sign-in screen select Sign In.Ģ.

Sign in to Zoom with your CUW/AA Credentials (on the Zoom Application)ġ. Once done, the Zoom app should appear showing a sign-in screen. It will take a few moments to finish installing. Click on the Zoom Installer to install it.

Depending on your computer, the Zoom installer will appear in one of the following places: at the bottom left of your computer screen, or in your “downloads” folder.ĥ. In the Zoom installer window, select Save File.Ĥ.
